Equipment
You will need a Pyrex measuring cup, whisk, stainless steel mixing bowl, mason jar (3 cups or 24oz), leak proof lid and a teaspoon.
Ingredients list
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Dill
- 2 teaspoon Chives
- 1 teaspoon Parsley
- 1tsp Crushed White Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Redmond Real Salt
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Mayo - I use Chosen Food Brand
- 1 cup Sour cream - homemade (recipe linked)
Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Instructions:
Gather your ingredients, so that you can add them all to your stainless steel mixing bowl. I start with the wet ingredients.
Add your wet ingredients, buttermilk, mayo (Chosen Food Brand), and sour cream (homemade) and whisk together.
Now, add your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients and whisk them together.
After whisking your buttermilk ranch dressing ingredients, pour the ranch dressing into your mason jar. I use a 3 cup or 24oz mason jar.
Now your ranch dressing is ready to serve. Enjoy with wings, a burger or as a veggie dipping sauce, guilt free. It's so nice to enjoy delicious food, knowing there are no toxic seed oils or preservatives.
Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Recipe
Equipment
- 1 Pyrex measuring Cup It does not have to be Pyrex, but for this recipe I do prefer the large glass mixing cup - total of 4 cups. You can also use just a regular 1 cup measuring cup.
- 1 Whisk
- 1 Stainless steel mixing bowl
- 1 Mason jar I use the 24oz or 3 cup mason jar for this recipe
- 1 Lid I use a leak proof, air tight lid
- 1 Teaspoon
Ingredients
- 1 cup Buttermilk Low Oxalate
- 1 cup Mayo Chosen Brand - Low Oxalate
- 1 cup Sour cream Homemade ( recipe linked) Low Oxalate
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Low oxalate - 1mg
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder Low oxalate - 2mg
- 1 teaspoon Dill weed Very low oxalate - .34mg
- 2 teaspoon Chives Very low oxalate - trace
- 1 teaspoon Parsley Low oxalate - 3mg
- 1 teaspoon Crushed white pepper or to taste Low oxalate
- 1 teaspoon Redmond Real Salt Low Oxalate
Instructions
- Add the wet ingredients. 1 cup of buttermilk, 1 cup of mayo (Chosen Brand), 1 cup of homemade sour cream.
- Whisk the wet ingredients together in the stainless steel mixing bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients. 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of dill weed, 2 teaspoon of chives, 1 teaspoon of parsley, 1 teaspoon of crushed white pepper and 1 teaspoon of Redmond Real Salt.
- Whisk the ingredients together. Add the buttermilk ranch dressing to the mason jar. Use a air tight, leak proof lid. Store in the fridge and use as desired.
